At Kunugigaoka Middle School, Class 3-E is a group of delinquents and dropouts, overlooked by their peers. Their lives change when the government assigns them an impossible mission: to kill their new teacher, Koro-sensei, an octopus-like being who destroyed the moon and threatens to destroy Earth in a year. With Mach 20 speed and near invulnerability, Koro-sensei seems indestructible. However, he proves to be an excellent teacher, training the class in both academics and assassination skills. Nagisa Shiota and his classmates must uncover Koro-sensei's weaknesses to save the world and reclaim their futures in *Assassination Classroom*.
