Asta and Yuno, abandoned at the same church on the same day, grow up with a shared dream of becoming the Wizard King—the strongest mage in the kingdom. While Yuno possesses powerful magic, Asta cannot use magic and focuses on physical training. At 15, Yuno receives a four-leaf clover Grimoire, while Asta gets nothing. After Yuno is attacked by a thief, Asta fights back but is overpowered. However, in a moment of desperation, Asta unlocks a five-leaf clover Grimoire, gaining immense power. Together, they set out on their journey, both aiming for the title of Wizard King.
