One year after the failed Black Rebellion, the resistance group known as the Black Knights is in disarray. Without their leader, the masked vigilante Zero, the group is powerless against the increasingly brutal oppression of the Elevens by the Holy Britannian Empire. Meanwhile, Lelouch Lamperouge, having lost all memory of his alter ego, lives peacefully as a high school student at Ashford Academy. However, his former ally, C.C., refuses to accept this change and works to awaken Lelouch’s memories of his past life, hoping that the mastermind behind Zero will rise once again to finish the revolution he began.
