Hunters are elite individuals who undertake dangerous missions, from exploring uncharted territories to hunting rare creatures and acquiring valuable items. To become a Hunter, one must pass the treacherous Hunter Examination, a process so grueling that most participants fail or perish. 12-year-old Gon Freecss dreams of becoming a Hunter to find his father, Ging, who is also a Hunter. Believing the path will lead him to his father, Gon embarks on the journey. During the exam, he befriends Leorio, a medical student, Kurapika, a vengeful survivor, and Killua, a former assassin. Despite their differing motives, they unite to face the dangers of a perilous world.
