In 1868, English nobleman George Joestar and his son Jonathan owe a debt to Dario Brando, who saved them from a carriage accident. However, Dario's true motive was to rob them, believing they were dead. After Dario’s death, George adopts his son Dio to repay the debt. Dio feigns loyalty but secretly plans to steal the Joestar fortune, creating a rift between Jonathan and his father. Eventually, Jonathan defeats Dio, but years later, as George falls ill, Jonathan suspects Dio’s involvement. Dio's true intentions remain unclear, and the tension between the brothers escalates once again.
