Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama, an eighth-grader with immense psychic power, learns early on that his abilities are more of a burden than a blessing. Fearing the danger of his unchecked power, Mob suppresses his abilities, using them only to impress his crush, Tsubomi. Seeking control, he works under Arataka Reigen, a con artist posing as a psychic, who exploits Mob’s talents for money. Exorcising spirits becomes routine, but Mob’s true potential remains untapped. As his emotional turmoil builds, the risk of a catastrophic psychic explosion grows, threatening to unleash a power that could destroy everything.
