Death City is home to the Death Weapon Meister Academy (Shibusen), led by Lord Death, where students are trained to become Demon Weapons to fight evil. These weapons are human hybrids who can transform into weapons after consuming the souls of 99 evil beings and one witch. Soul Eater Evans, a Demon Scythe, teams up with his straight-laced meister, Maka Albarn, to achieve his goal of becoming a true Death Scythe. Alongside them are Black☆Star and his weapon Tsubaki, and Death the Kid with his twin pistols. Together, they battle evil, striving to strengthen their minds, bodies, and souls.
