Shouyou Hinata, inspired by the "Little Giant," dreams of becoming a great volleyball player despite his short stature. After forming a team in junior high, he is defeated by the powerhouse Kitagawa Daiichi, led by the genius setter, Tobio Kageyama. Determined to get revenge, Hinata joins Karasuno High, only to find Kageyama on his team. Now, he must work with his former rival and overcome his own limitations to help the team succeed. *Haikyuu!!* follows Hinata's journey as he strives to reach the top of high school volleyball, learning teamwork and perseverance along the way.
